Tiered Deck & Pool

The goal for this compact urban backyard was to provide a deck for entertaining and dining, and a covered pool and for all-season exercise. An upper deck was created to easily access the pool from the house, and a large lower deck expands to the rear of the yard to take advantage of the afternoon sunlight. A tall and expansive green privacy hedge acts as a lush and beautiful backdrop to the dining and seating area. A pool and spa combination model with an articulating cover was chosen to provide comfortable cover for use all year around.
