Pine Ridge Mid-Century

This mid-century home in Pine Ridge, with views to a beautiful wooded site, presented a great opportunity to fully update and reconfigure the spaces to improve function and flow throughout. The main floor was largely re-worked with a new expansive kitchen, pantry and bar that directly connect to the dining room. A modern gas fireplace was added in the living room and new slim steel railings were incorporated to give a lighter feel to the central stair.  Completing the main floor was the addition of a new mud room and updates to the powder room and guest bathroom.

On the lower level, an underutilized space off the living area, small bedroom and a mini bathroom were all gutted and reconfigured into 2 bedrooms with a full bathroom accessed by a new private hallway. An old utilities area was converted into a spacious laundry room, and new lighting throughout the house completed the modernization.
