Ballard Remodel

The main floor of a vintage 1940s home in Ballard was remodeled to flow and function well for an active and social family. Awkward circulation space was reclaimed and opened up to create a large, light-filled state-of-the-art kitchen and a gracious dining room with plenty of space to host large gatherings. With the removal of interior walls, new visual connections were established between all of the major spaces. The living room was updated with comfy new lounge furniture for entertaining or relaxing with a good book. An entry foyer was created and defined and the old head-bonking ceiling over the stairs was reworked in order to keep noggins happy.
